First up, uber-talented singer-songwriter Amelia Curran returns to town for a gig at the Folk Exchange on Wednesday, November 13th.

Fun announcement alert: On Friday, December 16th, a bona fide slew of local musicians pay tribute to the incomparable Gordon Lightfoot at the West End Cultural Centre. On the bill: Scott Nolan,Vanessa Kuzina (Oh My Darling), Red Moon Road , and Rusty Matyas (Imaginary Cities).

Meaghan Smith will play some Christmas tunes at the WECC on Saturday, December 7th w/ Slow Leaves.

Calgary-based indie-poppers Raleigh is at the WECC on Friday, November 29th. From Giants and Few Who Do are also on the bill. Check back early next month for a chance to win tix to this show!

Speaking of Calgary-based artists, Reuben & The Dark is at the Park Theatre w/ Paper Kites on Saturday, November 2nd.

Local indie-electro act Hana Lulu is releasing its debut EP, Keepsake, at 72 Princess Street (I don't have a venue name) on Friday, November 15th.

My first entry for 2014! Mark Berube will be at the WECC on Friday, February 21st!

The Fugitives drop by the Windsor on Wednesday, November 20th w/ White Ash Falls.

Quadruple bill going down at the Park on Monday, November 4th: Hearing Trees, The Burning Kettles, Pocket Change, and Rachel Quelch.

And finally, local band Mitten Claps is releasing its debut EP, Tactics, at the Rose 'n' Bee Pub on Sunday, November 10th.
