A Newfound Respect

>> Wednesday, 8 April 2009

I suspect by now you've probably heard all about Jian Ghomeshi's interview with the highly volatile Billy Bob Thornton this morning on Q, but if not, here's the video clip. Heads up though: it's longerish (14 mins or so) and is awkward raised to the power of infinity.

Total props to Jian for standing his ground and not being all apologetic to the consummate jerk that is Billy Bob.

That interview is fantastic. Jian didn't crumble and really makes Thornton look like a complete idiot.

Funny how he keeps referencing Tom Petty. I don't know if that's his ego talking? He can't possibly believe he's on the same level as a legend like Petty.

This interview is simply superb. I've never had more respect for Jian Ghomeshi than now, good for him.
Your totally right Graham, BBT looks like a tit, and JG the king of Spain?

I wanna make a monster model of Godzilla out of papier maché!

Interview was pretty boring for the first 4 minutes or so. And the dude in the middle didn't say a single word! But seriously... what crazy drugs was BBT taking the night before?
